After launching Currensea in 2020 we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received for our world-first open banking multi currency debit card.
By working with your existing bank account, Currensea's multi currency debit card allows you to pay in every currency but without the fees, the inconvenient hassle of topping up a prepaid travel card, and no need to manage multiple accounts in order to get the best live exchange rate.

Recognising disruptive innovation in the FinTech industry, BusinessCloud compiled a list of 100 FinTechs from a long-list of 250. After our January launch, this was our first ranking, to enter at number 3 ahead of unicorns such as Monzo and Revolut was an honour and a clear indicator of the change Currensea brings to the FinTech market.

This was a great double win, taking two awards at the events with our partners at Global Processing Services.
The second edition of the awards aims to celebrate the best in the global FinTech industry.
This year has brought to the fore the absolute need for digitisation across all industries and especially in financial services. The multitude of challenges exacerbated by the global pandemic has forced Financial Services firms to innovate at a speed never seen before.
